Luxury Accommodations
Two separate modern-retro bungalows with a private central courtyard. The Main House, set up as a studio space, has a king size bed, bathroom with large shower, a designer kitchen, dining and living space. The Bunkhouse contains a king size bed as well as two double-size bunk beds, a bathroom with shower and a kitchenette. There's a 7 foot pool table, turntable with vinyl albums and board games making for fun nights.
After a day exploring Joshua Tree National Park, relax in the hot tub or around the warming fire pit sharing a drink with friends & family.

Stop looking and book this place right now!!! Trust me you won’t regret it. Best Airbnb we have stayed at. It’s private, clean, elegant, and fun. It has everything you need and everything you want. We kept saying WOW to each other for like 30 times during our stay, the owner really did a marvelous job here and took care of every detail. A real gem in Joshua Tree.

The Birdhouse is amazing. We had such a wonderful time there. A perfect secluded desert getaway. The two buildings themselves are amazing and the amenities are icing on the cake. Such attention to detail in an artfully constructed retreat. We really appreciated all of the thoughtful technology in the house. The connected audio in every room, the Apple TVs and surround sound, everything was wonderful. We especially appreciated all of the power outlets and USB connections throughout the two buildings, located everywhere you would possibly want to connect tech. The WiFi was great; enough for everyone to stream their own shows ;) Wonderful!

Don’t hesitate to book your stay
I just want to say this location was amazing. I’ve had my share at a few AirBNB locations and this by far was my favorite. I definitely recommend this specific location for a group of friends or family. It was definitely filled with specific home decor and it brought me back to the retro era. It’s a nice secluded residence. No one bothers you. There were board games, a pool table, a fire pit, a record player, small pool with built in lights, a lot of electronics and charger plug ins; in case you forget yours. We didn’t even turn on the TVs because we wanted to soak up nature and enjoy all the home had to offer.
I highly recommend to watch the sunrise on the egg chairs and sunset. It is breathtaking!!!!! Oh and don’t forget you can workout in the courtyard area.
Don’t hesitate to book your stay. I would stay longer than two days 😁 Buy groceries and you have everything you need there.

Like walking into a timeless portal
Wow!!! This place is soooo very special. I went to celebrate my birthday with a small group of friends and this GEM of a retro home blew our minds — it was everything we could hope for and more… the attention to detail, cleanliness, and style is impeccable. The space is open and free and private. It was like walking into a timeless portal. Oh and the owl chalices were simply divine ;) communication was great, they were very kind and it felt like a peace of inspiration and creative haven — needless to say — I can’t wait to go back! Highly recommend! Does this thing have 6 stars ?!! Thank you for creating such a magnificent space!

The Birdhouse was an absolute dream
The birdhouse was an absolute dream to spend a spring break vacation with my husband and 5 year old son. The house is beautiful. There is literally no stone left unturned, you’ll notice new details everyday that you hadn’t the day before. The location is perfectly situated to enjoy a mountainous ride to Palm Springs for lunch or a day trip to San Diego. My family is having serious thoughts about moving to Joshua tree after our experience at The Birdhouse. P.S. Request to have the pool heated, it added the perfect touch!

We loved everything about this gorgeous, stylish house. It’s secluded yet located close to Joshua Tree and some great restaurants. It had every amenity and we loved all of the smart features. An oasis in the desert! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this mid-century modern styled gem. Well appointed, it offered everything we needed, from a fully equipped kitchen and outdoor grill, gas fire pit, heated swimming pool and multiple outdoor seating and lounging options. A great private retreat to relax after exploring Joshua Tree National Park, hiking to 49 Palms (highly recommended) or taking a day trip to Palm Springs. Don't miss the croissants and strawberry scones at Campbell Hill Bakery!

My husband and I just spent our vacation at The Birdhouse — truly top of the mark. It is so beautifully appointed as well as very luxurious with many fun touches. We wanted for absolutely nothing. We loved the serenity and peace this magic place in the high desert provides. There are great restaurants and activities available. Exploring Joshua Tree National Park and taking the longest Tramway in the world up to mountain tops with snow provides great experiences. This exceeded our expectations and we give it 5+ stars!
